Shavuos Prayers

The power of prayer and hisbodidus is so greatly underutilized - A simple conversation with Hashem could go such a long way. The Baal Shem Tov said, "A segulah for good children is to wash in hot water every morning and night." Rav Elimelech Biderman explains that what he meant was that parents should shed hot tears for their children at least twice daily.

A parent's prayer, however, is unparalleled. It is important to remember to pray for our children, for their success in Torah, for their calm temperament and ability to overcome. We can also pray for ourselves - At a certain age we (hopefully) begin to take care of ourselves. In psychology, personal development is also referred to as "reparenting". However, at the end of the day, it Hashem that is always praying for us. Our Father in Heaven always has our best interested in mind and believes in us In the year 2448, He chose us and continues to choose us every Shavuos holiday.

Please take a look at this digital download, print it at home and make the celebration of Shavuos real by signing your name and your children's names as official Torah keeping members of the Jewish people.
